So, recently after attending our regular meets we came into contact with LLCC, and it's safe to say, it's an absolute pleasure to have them on board.
For those who don't know... LLCC is the "Lost Lads Car Club". A group led by a Guy that has a heart of Gold.
For the last couple of days, we have had chance to get to know the pair of them and we have had a wonderful time in doing so. When it comes to meeting genuine people and listening to their stories it warms our heart that we can make these connections.
SO WHAT WERE WE DOING
We had seen online that LLCC were looking for a "Mobile Mechanic" now it may come as no surprise, we had seen the post and wanted to help, we all hate it when cars become ill.
So we got in touch and made our way to them, we plugged in the Carly Scanner to get a diagnostic to see what issues were there. After a regular OBD scan with another reader came up with no codes, using the Carly we were able to find issues that needed attention.
We lifted the car and had a look, we fixed broken wires, fuses, took scratches out of the mirror and resprayed, rewired the Starter Motor and Voila, we managed to get the car back on the road.
Sure this took us a couple of days, but in doing so managed to avoid recovery, diagnostic inspection, repair and labour costs. They covered our fuel costs and a little extra for the assistance which was exceptionally kind of them.
